Maine licenses both the company and the individual under 32 MRS chapter 69-C and the Commission's rules (10-144 CMR chapter 232); a master well driller may drill, deepen, hydrofracture and abandon wells, a master pump installer may install and service pumps and pressure systems, journeymen work under a master, and geothermal grades cover open and closed loop systems.
