Maine licensed well drilling company (Maine Water Well Commission company license WDC0021, expires December 31, 2026). Licensed individuals at the company: Christopher Rolfe (WD00140: master well driller, master pump installer, open loop geothermal); Michael Rolfe (WD00101: master well driller, master pump installer, open loop geothermal, closed loop geothermal). Maine licenses both the company and the individual under 32 MRS chapter 69-C and the Commission's rules (10-144 CMR chapter 232); a master well driller may drill, deepen, hydrofracture and abandon wells, a master pump installer may install and service pumps and pressure systems, journeymen work under a master, and geothermal grades cover open and closed loop systems. Maine requires no state permit for a household well.
